IF YOU ARE OVER 65YRS OLD AND HAVE NOT YET RECEIVED YOUR COVID VACCINATION PLEASE CONTACT 0300 0840004 TO BOOK AN APPOINTMENT AT THE MASS VACCINATION CENTRE.
Over the last few weeks we have worked very closely with Venue Cymru and our District Nursing team to ensure that as many patients in the first few cohorts are vaccinated. Venue Cymru is now concentrating on 2nd doses for healthcare workers so we will be vaccinating the majority of eligible patients for the next few weeks. It is dependent on supply though. We get one weeks notice as to how many vaccines we will receive the following week but as soon as we get confirmation we book patients in. As the supply we receive is quite low each week it will take about 2-3 weeks to finish our 65-69 year olds. Please do not think we have forgotten you if you have not been contacted yet. If Venue Cymru have availability then they will let us know and we will send a text to you so please can you make sure that we have your up to date mobile number. Thank you.
Please inform staff at the surgery if you have had a recent Covid-19 swab test, if you are asking for a face to face appointment with a Clinician.
GP Practices are not required to provide an exemption letter, for more information please see document within Services and Coronavirus for helpful information should you feel you require proof of exemption.
We have worked hard here at the Practice to ensure we are Covid Secure. Social Distancing measures are in place and should be adhered to as per government guidelines. Please wear a face mask or face covering when attending the Practice.
If you have been allocated an appointment you will be provided with a telephone number to call to inform us of your arrival. Entry to the Practice will be subject to capacity. You may be asked to wait in your car if the waiting room is at maximum capacity of 2 people. You will be called back to inform once capacity has reduced. You will be contacted on the day of your appointment to ensure you are well and not displaying any symptoms of Coronavirus. Your temperature will be checked on arrival. Please attend the surgery alone unless there is a requirement for a carer/parent to be present.
Thank you for all of your patience, cooperation and understanding during this unprecedented time.
