When will I get my covid vaccination?
As mentioned last week we are vaccinating those aged 18-64 with an at risk condition (this is group 6). We are provided with a list and it is from this list we call patients in. There are almost 500 patients on this list so it will take time. Venue Cymru will be calling those aged 60-64 (this is group 7). They will send you a letter with an appointment date and time. After that the Venue Cymru will call the next group which is group 8 - those aged 55-59 and group 9 - those aged 50-54.  Following this group 10 the rest of the population of which we are awaiting confirmation if Venue Cymru or GP Practices will be vaccinating. We appreciate you are all concerned about when you will get your vaccine but we have to go in order of the priority groups. Everyone will be invited when it is their turn. Please do not ring us asking when your vaccine will be, we will get in touch when it is your turn. Please do not ring us saying that your friend or neighbour has been vaccinated and is younger than you and ask why have they been vaccinated as we will not be able to share any information with you. All staff in all the surgeries and in Venue Cymru are working extremely hard to ensure that this vaccination programme is completed as quickly as possible. We are grateful for your patience and would like to reassure you all that when it is your turn you will be invited. Thank you.

Please inform staff at the surgery if you have had a recent Covid-19 swab test,  if you are asking for a face to face appointment with a Clinician.

GP Practices are not required to provide an exemption letter, for more information please see document within Services and Coronavirus for helpful information should you feel you require proof of exemption.

We have worked hard here at the Practice to ensure we are Covid Secure. Social Distancing measures are in place and should be adhered to as per government guidelines.  Please wear a face mask or face covering when attending the Practice.

If you have been allocated an appointment you will be provided with a telephone number to call to inform us of your arrival.  Entry to the Practice will be subject to capacity.  You may be asked to wait in your car if the waiting room is at maximum capacity of 2 people.  You will be called back to inform once capacity has reduced.  You will be contacted on the day of your appointment to ensure you are well and not displaying any symptoms of Coronavirus.  Your temperature will be checked on arrival.  Please attend the surgery alone unless there is a requirement for a carer/parent to be present.

Thank you for all of your patience, cooperation and understanding during this unprecedented time.
