BLOOD CLINICS    The Drop In Blood Clinic will END on Friday 30th June 2017.     AS FROM 3rd JULY 2017 The Blood Clinic will be by APPOINTMENT ONLY.   Blood Clinic Appointments can be made by Telephoning Reception on 01492 550430 or Online via My Health Online.

Our practice nurses perform a range of screening tests, such as, Cervical Smears, Spirometry, Doppler scans, they also review patients with chronic illness for example: Asthma, COPD and Diabetes, they also assess and treat cases of wound and leg ulcers.

Nurses administer vaccinations such as influenza, pneumococcal, shingles and child immunisations. We are also a Yellow Fever Vaccination Centre and the nurses can provide advice and immunisations for those travelling abroad.

The nurses also carry out procedures such as ear irrigation, swabs and other ongoing injections such as B12. Some nurses also see patients for coil removal, changes of ring pessaries and repeat contraception.

Regarding contraception and women's health concerns, please note in a new instance or if any problems, please see a GP - Dr Breese has an interest in Women's Health issues such as the menopause.

Healthcare Assistants

Healthcare assistants support practice nurses with their daily work and carry out tasks such as phlebotomy (drawing blood), blood pressure measurement, ECG's, dressings and new patient checks. They may act as a chaperone when a patient or doctor requests one.

Caroline Riley

Caroline is our Health Care Assistant.


We currently have no phlebotomist.
