Repeat Prescriptions
Repeat prescriptions will be issued at the doctor's discretion and are normally for patients on long-term treatment. Requests for prescriptions can be made in writing and drop it in at the surgery post box Monday to Friday. You can also ask your pharmacy to manage your repeat prescription.
We are unable to take prescription requests over the telephone.
Where possible give exact drug names when ordering.
We are unable to take orders or issue prescriptions at weekends, public holidays or out of normal surgery hours.
MyHealthOnline will no longer be available from the 31st December. We will be using the NHS Wales app. Login screen (nhs.wales) Please start to download and get your log in ready for the change.
Medication Reviews
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, advanced clinician, or a nurse practitioner at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
Please allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed with us, this can take a further 2 days for the chemist to process the request. Please remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
